There’s not much happening in the markets today which makes it difficult to write a newsletter about markets and options trades.
However in world news…
The Hunter Biden Social Club hosted a meetup at the White House where someone accidentally left a small bag of the nosy tooty frooty in the West Wing.
We’re sure that somehow someway the security cameras got Epstein’d and we’ll never know who’s bag it was.
You have to either be unafraid of consequences or high as fk or possibly both to bring a white powder to the White House.
Back to the bore…
We suppose the good thing and possibly very important thing here is that RIGD will alert you immediately when the activity happens, so you can follow or fade the moves.
You don’t need to pay attention to the market every day, if it’s worth trading we’ll bombard you with emails, texts (soon) and push notifications.
RIGD sent one alert today a 301 bull bomb on SPY which is a 22.73% live return.
We didn’t take the trade because in the midst of testing the lottos feature (not yet public) we took the other way on the QQQ and are currently down 50% which means no lunch today.
Some thoughts on lottos:
On their own they are probably a poor signal because SPY and QQQ are liquid trading instruments and can be used to hedge against other positions.
Ultimately what you’re looking for is “confluence” of sorts where the signals match up in the same direction.
Ex: 998 Bull Bomb on SPY at 10:30am followed by a 200 score lotto on SPY at 10:34 AM
We’re going to tweak the algo a bit depending on the timeframe of the session. If a trader is moving in on 10,000 contracts to the upside with two hours left in the session, this should be scored higher than the same trade happening at the open.
It’s unclear when we’ll release this in the private beta… but it’s getting closer!
We’ll likely add a degen mode which you can turn on to test these features out which will happen after we push through a whole bunch of quality of life updates / upgrades.
